Xianglong mountain cliff statue is located at no. 3 xianglong road, shizhong district, nejiang city, nejiang municipal party committee office district in the south, and xianglong mountain, xinhua road street in the north. Statues began to be carved in the tang dynasty, until the republic of China, the dynasties have been added. Xianglong mountain is called "xiangshan" in ancient times, and the jade belt stream (also known as "tiger stream") runs through it. During the reign of wanli in the Ming dynasty, wang sanxi, a man from the city of yi (the salt transport from the government to fujian province, from sanpin), was inscribed with three characters "xianglong mountain" on the rock, which does not exist now. In the song dynasty, "zisheng temple" was built in front of the mountain. The only remaining dougong structure hall was demolished during the "cultural revolution". The statues were distributed on cliffs 206 meters long, 9 meters high and 0.2 meters above the ground. Arranged east-west, there are 131 niches (places), 815 statues and 24 stone inscriptions.
The cliff statue was approved and announced as a national key cultural relic protection unit by the state council on March 5, 2013.
